Mobile Inventory Control (MIC) is a family of mobile transactions designed for hand-held devices. This allows users to selectively deploy bar-code enabled, hand-held mobile devices.

Using Mobile Inventory Control from Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP WorkWise Edition, transactions are able to validate and update in real-time. The MIC ERP application includes Inventory, Receiving, Shipping and Shop Floor transactions, together with bar code label printing functionality. MIC works directly with the Aptean Industrial Manufacturing ERP database to improve inventory accuracy, inventory control, provide better lot, bin and serial management, and improve lot traceability.

Each user that executes MIC transactions has a user profile that identifies which transactions they can access. A user’s authorization is not limited to a device, it’s specific to their personal user profile and login.
