Certification Program

Aptean EAM Academy provides a step-by-step training program that allows users to become an Aptean EAM Certified User, Certified Professional or Certified Expert. Our courses pave the way to becoming certified in the various Aptean EAM roles. In order to achieve certification, you must pass a final course exam. This exam will test you on the knowledge gained throughout the training curriculum. In order to get the most out of the training, you will need to follow the designated path to gain the necessary knowledge to pass the exam.

When planning your Aptean EAM training, course schedules have been designed to make it easy for you to find the right course level based on what role you have in your company. Complete the listed variety of courses and you will shortly become certified with Aptean EAM.

Level 1

Basic Courses

These courses provide a beginner user with an overview of the Aptean EAM system and essential prerequisite knowledge for higher level courses. This course-level is designed for routine users of the Aptean EAM system.

Course Description:

The course provides participants with conceptual knowledge of the API PRO Maintenance System.

Specific Functions Covered:

• Screen/program handling

• Navigation

• “Point and shoot” and screen functions

• Setup of basic data

• Plant structure

• Equipment information

Format:

The course is a combination of instructor-led and hands-on exercises to maximize the learning outcome.

Expected Outcome:

The aim of the course is to give the participants knowledge of the basic functions in the API PRO system partly by showing it live and partly by exercises so that they will be able to carry out primary tasks in connection with setup of basic data when building and maintaining the plant structure.

Level 2

Detailed Courses

These courses give an in-depth look at business processes and functionality and shows how to use Aptean EAM software in a more detailed way. This course-level is designed for key users in maintenance, stock and purchase areas.

Course Description:

The course provides participants with conceptual knowledge of the API PRO Maintenance System.

• Work with technical data

• Use the Visual Navigation

• Shift logbook

• Financial masterdata (cost place, cost sort)

• Transaction types

• Alimentation flow

• Documents management (advanced)

• Message module

Format:

The course is a combination of instructor-led and hands-on exercises to maximize the learning outcome.

Level 3

Advanced Courses

These courses focuse on providing expert level information about the Aptean EAM system. This course-level is designed for target groups who are super users of the system and supervisors.

Intended audience: The persons responsible for working with planning of the maintenance of the equipment.

The course provides participants with conceptual knowledge of the work order module of API PRO Maintenance System.

Specific functions covered:

• Shift management

• Capacity planning

• Skill Management
